Five Year Old Birthday Invitations

I made these birthday invitations for my grandson's party, which is at the end of October. I was very excited when my daughter asked if I wanted to make them this year, Well of course I do!

I cut the card at 5 x 6, using Wasau and Bazzill cardstock.
The 5 is cut at four inches and the flame at one (Real Dial Size) using Cricut papers and Bazzill cardstock.

I cut little squares and used Stampin' Up stamps for the "You're Invited"
Added a button and the twine is from 3 Girl Jam.
Plus a little doodling, I couldn't help myself.

Here's the back also using the Stampin' Up set I have.

Route 66 | Manly Birthday Card

Get Your Kicks!

A man's birthday card is most definitely hard for a lot of us. The Nifty Fifties cart has a few things I found that work well, not being childish, or frilly.

Nifty Fifties cart
Card stock from Wasau and Bazzill
I free handed the road
I did cut the "get your kicks" but chose not to use it.

The inside is simply stamped Happy Birthday.

You Rock Valentine

Happy Valentine's Day!

These were so much fun!
I made these for my grandson's pre-school class & my daycare kids as well! So in fact I made 30 total!

I used the Cricut Lite Slumber Party cart.
The boxes were made by selecting "fit to page" and came out around three inches.
I used different brands of card stock for the boxes in various shades of red and pink. Some textured and some not.

I cut the guitars at 2 1/2 inches  using Bazzill & Wasau card stock .

The circles, squares, and hearts were also cut from the "Slumber Party" cart.

I used stamps from Joy's Life Products and K. Andrew Stamps. I wrote "Rock" in, I didn't have a stamp for that.

The bags used inside the treat box I bought from Wal-Mart and the ribbon may be G Studios, not sure now that it's all gone, it was purchased at Wal-Mart as well.

Hope you enjoyed seeing our little treat boxes and
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Mickey Mouse Card & Cup Cake Toppers

We had another party at my daycare! And the choice again was Mickey Mouse,  man is he popular with the children. These were made differently from the last, plus a card included.

I used the Disney Mickey and Friends Cart. for the cup cake toppers, the Mickey and stars.
The inside of the card has stars in it too. Sorry no picture.
The 5 was cut with the Plantin SchoolBook Cart.
Card stock used was Wasau, and Bazzill.
The stamps used were from K. Andrew Designs Food for Thought Art Stamps.
I also used my white gel pen for doodling.

Thanks so much for stopping by !

Pirate Treat Boxes

I made these for my grandson's birthday party this weekend. His actual party is October 31st, but everyone tends to be busy that day, and we just can't figure why! Humm..hehe!

My daughter asked me to make treat bags/boxes for the party.
I knew I had something in my Cricut collection.

With the Mini Monsters Cart. I was able to make these boxes from page 75.
I chose these because of the rigged edges.

I used Bazzill black card stock  for the box, chose, fit to page, and it cut the box at 5 3/4 in.

For the Pirate hat I used the Boys Will Boys Cart. page 73 there is a Pirate hat <Pirate> I cut at 2 1/2 in. in Bazzill black card stock.
The sword "shift" <Pirate-s> I used textured card stock from Core'dinations Vintage Collection. The blade on Layer, I used the gold from DCWV Glitter Card Stock Pack Brights and Pastels.

I really thought the assembly would be difficult, but it really was simple. I've never made these boxes before.

I tied a red ribbon on each one for a handle.
I haven't decided yet on how I will garnish the inside.

If You've Got Ears Say Cheers

Mickey Mouse Cup Cake Topper
Well Hot Dog Another Birthday!
Yes I do have lots of birthday parties, but what can say, I have a daycare and we must celebrate a birthday, right? Right!

So for this birthday I chose Mickey Mouse. This little boy who it was for loves him. We watch the Mickey Mouse Club House every morning when the children first arrive before breakfast.

This is from the Disney Mickey and Friends cart. I cut him at 5 inches. He's found on page 108. The stars are on the same page cut at 2 or 2 1/2 inches.

Black and Yellow paper are from Bazzill
Cream color for face is thin cheap card stock
(I didn't seem to have the correct color for his face)
White Gloves and eyes are from Wasau
(they actually have speckles in the white)
Red for shirt and stars from The Paper Studios
Small craft sticks were glued to back to hold in place

I hope you enjoyed this as much as we did!
Toodles!
:)
