Here comes the Sun

Whimsical Designs is having a "Song Inspired" challenged, so I thought I would participate. Create a card with your favorite song.

This is an all time awesome Beatles song! I created this card for Operation Write Home. I thought this would warm the recipients heart that soon their soldier would be home.

Challenge Me Monday #129 | End of Summer

Hi Everyone!
Here is my card for the FCCB challenge today.

The card is cut 5 x 5.5.

Paper Studios papers, yellow checkered front and inside. The flower paper was cut at 3 x 5 inches, glued on sides and bottom only so tag could slide in and out.

I used Bo Bunny buttons and a strip of Eco Cotton tape across the front.

I used the Plantin SchoolBook Cart for the tag cut.
The tag is cut three inches (real dial size).

I used a one inch punch for the top of the tag, scored in half, hole punched, and glued to top of tag, and added string.

I used Washi Tape and K. Andrews Art Stamps on the tag. Inside is blank.

Thanks for stopping by,
Lori

Challenge Me Monday #128 | Transportation

It's Challenge Me Monday #128 at FCCB,
and the challenge this week is Transportation.

My submission this week is from the
"Going Places" Cricut cart.
I used the plane and the tag for my card.

The base of my card is cut at 5 x 5.5
I used card stock from The Paper Studios (base) and Bazzill.
Also I used an old map of New York, inked it up with Tim Holtz Distressed Ink Antique Linen to age it more. I also used it on the tag and around the tan card stock.
The plane was cut at four inches and I doodled a little with a white Gelly Roll Pen from Peachy Keen Stamps.

The stamp is from K. Andrews Art Stamps
The antique bakers twine is from My Craft Spot.
I used adhesive foam mini circles, adding dimension to the plane.

Inside the card I used the Plantin SchoolBook cart for the rest of the sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Mickey Mouse Card & Cup Cake Toppers

We had another party at my daycare! And the choice again was Mickey Mouse,  man is he popular with the children. These were made differently from the last, plus a card included.

I used the Disney Mickey and Friends Cart. for the cup cake toppers, the Mickey and stars.
The inside of the card has stars in it too. Sorry no picture.
The 5 was cut with the Plantin SchoolBook Cart.
Card stock used was Wasau, and Bazzill.
The stamps used were from K. Andrew Designs Food for Thought Art Stamps.
I also used my white gel pen for doodling.

Thanks so much for stopping by !

Forever Young Birthday Card

I made this card this past weekend for a friend of my daughters.
The photo quality is poor sorry, I should have used my new camera.

I used the Forever Young cart with the model and dress from page 36.
The model was cut at 3 or 3 1/2 inches. The card I cut at 5 1/2 x 6 inches.
Pink cardstock is Bazzill textured, the black is Bazzill smooth.
The dress is white with pink polka dots from The Paper Studios.
Bling on waist is random company.
The sentiments stamped on card are K. Andrews Art Stamps and the pink ribbon
came with the stamps when I ordered.

Thanks for stopping by!
