Hey Foxy! | February Stamp of the Month

Hello and Happy Tuesday Everyone, I hope you're having a great week so far!

Today I'm going to talk a little about the Stamp Club Subscription with Brutus Monroe and to show the card I've made with the newest stamp club stamp, Hey Foxy! This is the February stamp, and if your are already a stamp club member you should be receiving yours soon!

This month we have this adorable little fox. It comes with a little heart, xoxoxo's, a bow for her hair, and a sentiment Hey Foxy! So so cute!

I colored the little fox with Copic markers and then cut him out with my Brother n Cut. I used some Doodled Bug papers I had left over from a Christmas card kit that I thought would go so good for a Valentine's card. I used a heart die from my stash to cut a red heart for my fox to sit on, stamped Hey Foxy in Raven detal ink, and popped them both up on foam squares. I also die cut two banners with another die from my stash, one I trimmed down to use at the top of my card and the other to place across my card. I stamped the banner with the xoxoxo's from the stamp set using the Cabbage Surface Ink from Brutus Monroe. For embellishments I added some Glass Slippers Bottle Cap Sequins and a drop of Liquid Pearls in the center of each one for dimension.

Love Is In the Air

Hello Everyone!

Today I've created a love themed card using the new Cloud Background stamp and the Hot Air Balloon Stamp Of The Month from Brutus Monroe! I thought they went so well together! 

I first inked up the new Cloud background stamp with Brutus Monroe embossing ink and sprinkled Brutus Monroe Alabaster embossing powder all over the inked area and then heat set it. I used Ranger distress inks for an ink resist technique in two shades of light blues. 

Next, I placed the Hot Air Balloon stamp with the hearts that come with the stamp set into my Misti tool and put my cardstock in place. I inked the balloon and the hearts with Brutus Monroe Rouge Surface Ink and stamped my card. I left the stamp in place in my Misti, by it being in the same place, I then inked the rope and the basket in Brutus Monroe Machiatto Surface Ink so they would be brown and stamped my card again, I now have two colors on my hot air balloon.

I then trimmed my cloud background down to 5.5 inches and placed it on a piece of red cardstock slightly larger and adhered those to a 6 x 6 top folding card base. I popped my hot air balloon up on foam adhesive and glued my hearts down with Brutus Monroe Craft glue.

To finish my card I added Acrylic Bubbles and glossy accents around my card!
