CASolgy Cue Challenge #203 | Congratulations

Hello everyone, I'm coming in at the last moment for this challenge! This weeks theme at Casology Cue Card Challenge is Congratulations.

For this card I used the Pretty Pink Posh dies to create a frame for my card.  My stamp image is from Brutus Monroe, and the congratulations came from another stamp set. I colored the bouquet with copic markers. I really love the green frame around this card.

GSD 21st Share Your Design Challenge | Heavy Friends Stamp Set

Hi everyone! 

It's been a little while since I've posted. So today I want to jump back in with a card for the Share Your Design Challenge.

So here is my card from the Heavy Friends stamp set.

I created my card first by using my Gelly Plate with a few different colors of paint and textures on scrap cardstock. After the paint dried I cut them with different dies that I have. This particular die is the Frame die and the Twine and Bow die from PPP. I love this mixed media look. I used the positive from the die to create the grass and sky by blending in some distress inks. I stamped the rhino on linen cardstock and blended grey pigment ink on to him, this cardstock has awesome texture!

I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with the little bird and added a Skittles dew drop on the bow, a little felt flower and sequins from my stash.
