Pirate Treat Boxes

I made these for my grandson's birthday party this weekend. His actual party is October 31st, but everyone tends to be busy that day, and we just can't figure why! Humm..hehe!

My daughter asked me to make treat bags/boxes for the party.
I knew I had something in my Cricut collection.

With the Mini Monsters Cart. I was able to make these boxes from page 75.
I chose these because of the rigged edges.

I used Bazzill black card stock  for the box, chose, fit to page, and it cut the box at 5 3/4 in.

For the Pirate hat I used the Boys Will Boys Cart. page 73 there is a Pirate hat <Pirate> I cut at 2 1/2 in. in Bazzill black card stock.
The sword "shift" <Pirate-s> I used textured card stock from Core'dinations Vintage Collection. The blade on Layer, I used the gold from DCWV Glitter Card Stock Pack Brights and Pastels.

I really thought the assembly would be difficult, but it really was simple. I've never made these boxes before.

I tied a red ribbon on each one for a handle.
I haven't decided yet on how I will garnish the inside.
