Lori ( you are here )

Here is the image I was given to work with:

And here is my card:

I started my card with my base, it's an A2 sized card 4.25 x 5.5 inches on Neenah cardstock 80 lb.
Next I made my background using a background stamp from Amuse Studio. I purposely only inked a portion of it with Vera Mark and then heat set it with gold embossing powder. I love embossing! I went ahead and tied my ribbon on the card, it matched the green flourishes I die cut. I printed out my pumpkin a few days before I colored it. My ink in my printer needs to dry a bit before I use markers on it. I used my copics in shades of orange, purples, and greens. The center of the flower is yellow and a reddish brown for the stem and shading. I cut the pumpkin out with my scissors, which i could have used my print and cut feature on my Cricut Explore, but this was simple to fussy cut. My pumpkin is popped up with 3M dimensional tape and my sentiment is doubled to be over the pumpkin, I also used a small piece of gold glitter cardstock behind the sentiment to tie it all in. I just love Fall, and was happy to get this stamp to work with!

That's my card for the hop! I hope you liked it!
Please hop along with us and see what everyone has created, and don't forget to leave a comment at each stop to have a chance to win!

Thanks so much for stopping by today,
Lori

Share Your Design Challenge #16 | Girl and Bunny Easter Card

Hi everyone!
Today I'm submitting an Easter card to
There are some really cute digi stamps at Gerda Steiner Degins and I think this a cute one for Easter. It's called Girl and Bunny.

I used the print and cut feature on my Cricut Explore for this digi stamp. This came out so cute, now I am obsessed with print and cut. I colored her in with copics markers. I used stamps and dies from HERE to complete my card. I also used wink of stella to give the eggs a glittery look.

This is my card for the challenge, I hope you like it!

DoubleClick Skittles Challenge #36 | Blue and White Christmas

Happy Thanksgiving!

Welcome to week #36 of the

This week the challenge is Christmas or Blue and White. I have a combo today. I recently came across a digi stamp from this site and fell in love! Then made the mistake of showing my sister and she had to have some made for Christmas!
(My sister and I are real close, so I do talk about her a lot. She's fifteen years older than me, and it took us awhile to get here and she's my best friend!)

Above I used Neenah 80lb. cardstock to print the frog on. Then I had to fussy cut him.
The patterned cardstock panel is from Paper Studios. And the card base is 100lb. white cardstock from MFT. The snowflake was cut from the same cardstock with my CE. I used red and white baker's twine, sequins, and the Stream Skittles from DoubleClick Connections, they were the perfect blue for this card! I love that color! I colored the frog with copic markers:
YG17,YG95,G05,G24,R39,RV29,YG00,W2,BG10,0.

Above this one is different in the coloring and the fussy cutting. I cut more from the frog between his legs and liked this better. I used Tombow markers to color this frog, but I prefer copics in the end for the image for a nice smooth finish!

I also added A Wink of Stella to the snowflake and the fur on the Santa hat. It's just not visible in the photos.
