Alright, now that the blog hop details have been duly noted, let's move on to my cards!

I have two ocean scene cards to share today using the Mermaid Escape clear stamp set and the Marble Background Rubber Cling Stamp from Whimsy Stamps and six different embossing powders from WOW! Embossing Powders!

As you can see from the photos below that my cards are basically the same! They are constructed in the same way by both being A2 sized top folding card and using the same stamp sets and different embossing powders.

All images were stamped on #80 Neenah Solar White cardstock with black Copic friendly ink. There's also a coordinating die set for this Mermaid Escape stamp set but I don't have it, so I ran the images through my Brother Scan N Cut. Then colored all the images with Copic markers.

For both of my cards I die cut card panels from an aqua colored #100 cardstock and used the Marble Background stamp.
To me I saw an ocean with this background stamp and just knew it would work out well for what I had planned. I used my anti static powder bag and rubbed it all over my card panel then stamped the background with a clear embossing ink with my Misti. Then heat embossed it with the Oceanic embossing powder from WOW! This photo does not do this embossing powder justice, it's extremely beautiful and perfect for this card.

I arranged all of my images on the card panel using a combination of liquid glue and foam tape. Then I decided to heat emboss the anchor with Metallic Copper Regular  embossing powder and then heat embossed the sentiment Escape into another world from the stamp set with Opaque Bright White super fine embossing powders also from WOW!

For the second card I repeated the same process of prepping my card panel background to be heat embossed. This time I combined the Earthtone Blueberry and the White Puff Twinkle embossing powders both from WOW! I wanted to add more texture and interest to my ocean and I believe I achieved that with this combination.

I adhered all of the images to the ocean background just like before, using a combination of liquid glue and foam tape. I heat embossed the same sentiment with the same Opaque Bright White super fine embossing powder. Then again decided to heat emboss the anchor. This time I used the Metalline Himalayan Musk regular from WOW!

I completed both of my cards by adding shimmer to the images, white
highlights with a Gelly roll pen, and acrylic bubbles. I used Glossy Accents on most of the images and created more bubbles to the card to add more texture and interest.

And that's my card for today, I hope you were inspired to create an ocean theme card and add several colors of WoW! Embossing powders to your cards! It really boosted the texture, interest, and dimension!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Your next stop on the hop is Isha Gupta! Have fun everyone!
