MFT Sketch Challenge 345 | Wishing You a Hippo Bird-Day

It's time for the Wednesday Sketch Challenge over at MFT, so today I thought I'd join in!

Here's the sketch this week...
Sketch Challenge 345 #mftstamps

And here's my take on the sketch...

I used the Happy Hippos stamp set today and created a shaker card, I never seem to make enough shaker cards, I love them so much. I placed the sentiment in the middle of the shaker so the recipient will have to shake it around to see the sentiment. The pieces inside the shaker are from the Die-Namics Balloon Shaker. I also used the Blue Prints number one for the strip along the left side of the card and the circle for the shaker is also from MFT but may be retired, can't think of the name, sorry.
I also used Cotton Candy and Gravel Grey cardstock from MFT. Card base is 110 Neenah Solar White, and the top panel is 80 lb. Neenah Solar White.
I colored it all in with my copics.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Happy Birthday 1 Year Old | Minnie Mouse Card

Hi everyone I am back today with another card. I have a great niece who turns one on Thanksgiving Day! Now that's something to be thankful for! So trying to be a little proactive, I decided to make her card early. Yes, her party is Micky and Minnie themed!

I cut the Mickey head with my Cricut Explore, and put a pretty pink and white polka dot bow to make Minnie Mouse. The number one is sticker with clear Wink of Stella on it. I used a three inch doily and birthday sentiment from the Birthday Balloons stamp set from A Muse Studio. I also added DoubleClick Skittles dew drop embellishments to finish the card off. I hope you like!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Five Year Old Birthday Invitations

I made these birthday invitations for my grandson's party, which is at the end of October. I was very excited when my daughter asked if I wanted to make them this year, Well of course I do!

I cut the card at 5 x 6, using Wasau and Bazzill cardstock.
The 5 is cut at four inches and the flame at one (Real Dial Size) using Cricut papers and Bazzill cardstock.

I cut little squares and used Stampin' Up stamps for the "You're Invited"
Added a button and the twine is from 3 Girl Jam.
Plus a little doodling, I couldn't help myself.

Here's the back also using the Stampin' Up set I have.
