Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge | Use Patterned Paper

Hi crafty friends, I'm entering this mixed media tag today in the SSS Monday Challenge!
I was able to pull out all sorts of fun stuff to make for this challenge. The patterned paper is the backdrop of the tag.

This tag was so much fun to make, and hey I know I need to use my patterned paper. The paper I used is from Cricut, I've have it for years. It reminded me of the ocean, so I went with that theme. I added bubbles over the entire tag, colored my mermaid with copics and started picking out things from my stash to use. I added stickles to the mermaid, and the love wood veneer. The sides of the tag were ink with Memento black ink and then I used my distressing tool to rough up the edges.

List of what I used:
Hand made tag from cardstock
Cricut patterned paper
Copics
Mermaid digi from The Greeting Farm
Vintage key
Twine and ribbon
Ephemera
Deep Red Stamps
Star stick pins
Memento Ink
Faber Castell Pitt Markers
Distress Ink from Ranger
Prima chalk Inks

That was a lot of stuff!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you like my tag!

Also I have a giveaway on my Instagram, I'm trying to reach my 500 follower milestone!

Thank You,
Lori

Five Year Old Birthday Invitations

I made these birthday invitations for my grandson's party, which is at the end of October. I was very excited when my daughter asked if I wanted to make them this year, Well of course I do!

I cut the card at 5 x 6, using Wasau and Bazzill cardstock.
The 5 is cut at four inches and the flame at one (Real Dial Size) using Cricut papers and Bazzill cardstock.

I cut little squares and used Stampin' Up stamps for the "You're Invited"
Added a button and the twine is from 3 Girl Jam.
Plus a little doodling, I couldn't help myself.

Here's the back also using the Stampin' Up set I have.
