Foxy Christmas Shaker Card

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a fun shaker card using some new and previously released  products from Sunny Studio Stamps! Their stamps are just the cutest and so fun to create with.

I started by stamping the images with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink on Neenah Solar white #80 cardstock, then colored all the images from the new Foxy Christmas stamp using Copic markers. Once all of the images were colored I started building my shaker. I used the Fancy Frames Rectangle dies and die cut out four pieces from the largest rectangles, them used the Fancy Frames Circle dies and die cut two circles from the second to smallest die. I also used a circle die from my stash to die cut a circle to fill in the back of the Fancy Frame Circle.

I stamped the circle with snowflakes from the Happy Owlidays Stamp set and created some little snow banks using Salty Ocean distress oxide. I wanted to have a Winter scene to coordinate with the rest of my card.

I used patterned paper from the Holiday Cheer 6 x 6 paper pad, trimmed it down to fit my card, and inked the edges with Salty Ocean Distress Ink. The Salty Ocean was just a tad darker than the blue on the patterned paper, but it's definitely hard to see in the photos. I also used a silver Gelly Roll pen and added little dots on the patterned paper for some glistening like snow, but it too doesn't show very well in photos.

I assembled my shaker card by adhering three of the rectangle pieces together, added the acetate, then the last rectangle piece. I added my sequins and adhered the patterned paper to the back of the rectangle. Next I adhered the two fancy circles together along with the circle stamped with snowflakes and the two snuggling fox.

I used the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Christmas Home stamp set using Salty Ocean Distress Oxide and a sentiment die strip from my stash.

I added Stickles and gems to my card and adhered it to a 5.5 x 4.25 top folding card base. For the inside I adhered a strip of the same patterned paper I had left over to the bottom, I used a sentiment from the Foxy Christmas Stamp set and the snowflakes from the Happy Owlidays stamp set.

I have a supply list of products I used below along with the Copic markers I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day,

Lori
