The Birthday Project | Beary Happy Birthday | Magical Day

Hi Everyone!

My Favorite Things has a new to me challenge called The Birthday Project, and the theme this month is Bears! Bears are my absolute favorite critters to color and I knew I wanted to participate in this challenge!

I used the Magical Day birthday themed stamp set which features this adorable bear as a magician!

I colored the bear using copic markers on Neenah Solar White #80 paper and then die cut the images out with the largest circle die from the MFT Zig Zag Stitch Stax die-namics. I knew I wanted to add layers to my card so I  used the MFT Blueprints 21 to die cut a rectangle panel and the banner strip. The pattern paper for the banner is also from the My Favorite Things. I placed those on my card base along with the image. I white heat embossed the sentiment, die cut it with the MFT Essential Fishtail Sentiments Strips die and popped it up with foam tape. I added some shimmer to my card using the Tonic Shimmer pen, Stickles, and added some sequins.

For the inside I used the same pattern paper using the rectangle die. For the white card I used the same rectangle die, but I did some partial die cutting to make the panel smaller. I finished my card by stamping a sentiment and the little bunny! I love completing my cards like this!

I hope you enjoyed my card and have a great day!
