You Are So Loved

Hello everyone! Today I have a love theme card, I know it's way too early for Valentine's Day Cards but I couldn't help myself! Black Friday had lots of great sales and this new stamp set, Valentine Penguins, from Gerda Steiner Designs just won me over, it is so stinking cute! Do you agree?!

I kept it kind of simple. I ink blended the background with Worn Lipstick distress oxide ink at the top and Seedless Preserves distress oxide ink at the bottom. I spritzed the background with water and tapped it dry with a paper towel and then I spritzed some Perfect Pearls on the background. You can see the shine in the photo, I love that stuff!!

For the penguins I used Copic markers in C5, C7, and C9 for the black. W00 for their tummies, YR19, YR68, for their beaks and feet, and R22 for their cheeks. For the hearts I stamped them In Lawn Fawn Lobster Ink and then I used Wink of Stella on the hearts and the penguins for some shine. Then I stamped the sentiment You Are So loved in Raven Detail Ink from Brutus Monroe on the snowbank so I could then begin assembling the card.

I glued the background, the snowbank, and the hearts down with Brutus Monroe craft glue, and popped my penguins up on foam tape. I added glossy accents to the hearts, beaks, and feet of the penguins. I also added a black Glaze pen to the eyes of the penguin for shine and dimension. And that completes my card!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
