Happy Snappy Birthday

Happy September! So much is going on this month especially for us crafters! Well we get STAMPember, The 30 Day Color Challenge which these usually results in plenty fun across the board, and finally Fall begins, yay! Really happy for Summer to leave it is too hot!

So since today begins the first day of The 30 Day Color Challenge I made a post and then I will share my card on IG like everyone else! I can't say I will post everyday, but I do hope to share everyday on IG.

So last week I received my Heffy Doodle order and finally had a chance to play with the Happy Snappy Crocs set. When I first saw that stamp set I knew I had to have it, but ended up buying the entire release. I didn't buy the dies because I have the Brother Scan n Cut, which I received for my birthday from my husband in July.

Here's my card.

I started out stamping my images on Neenah 110 lb. cardstock. Which has quickly become my favorite cardstock! I used copics to color my crocs and the rest of the stamp set. At this point I had an idea for a card and wanted to use every image, but that changed. Then ran that through the Brother scan n cut.
I used the MFT cloud stencil tp create the sky in the background using the same Neenah cardstock. I trimmed it down with a stitched rectangle die from Honey Bee Stamps. I used a slope/hillside die from Amuse Studio for the grass hill and then ran it through the same rectangle die, and adhered those pieces together. Then added my greeting.
I placed my little croc on the hill and used my x-acto knife and cut around his hands so I could place the cupcake there, and added the balloons in the sky like they were floating away. I also added wink of Stella and Glossy Accents for glitter, shine and dimension,

I placed this on top of Lemon Drop cardstock from MFTstamps, confetti scrapbook paper, and then my card base was A2 sized and side folding. I added Dew drops for embellishments and my card was completed.

I hope you liked my card today!
