Today I'm submitting this card for Challenge #17
Aren't they the cutest?
The base of the card is from MFT, and I also used their polka dot background stamp. The ink is from Brutus Monroe the gradient ink pad Sea Glass.
My ocean background I started by blending in some distress inks. I used Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, and Peacock Feathers. I really didn't like the way it turned out so I spritzed my craft mat with water and speared the ink over the panel. I added water drops to soak up some ink to give it a ocean feel. Then I sprayed white color shine from Heidi Swapp to give it the shine it needed.
I colored both whales with my copics using W2, W5, W8, 0, R85, and the copic multi-liner. I also used Festive Berries marker from Ranger for the blow hearts.
After I used Glossy Accents on their eyes, blow hole, and the bubbles and hearts.
I then traced around the image with the Copic multi-liner.
The sentiment and whales were stamped using Memento Tuxedo Blank.
That completes my card for today, hope you enjoyed it!
Come play along!
Thanks so much for stopping by,
Lori
