MFT Sketch Challenge #374 | Beach Houses

Hello everyone!

Today I'm joining in the MFT Sketch Challenge #374. It's been a long time since I've joined in their challenge and this looked so fun!

Here's the sketch for this week.

Here's my card, I flipped the sketch sideways.

I used the beach houses from the Beach Bunnies stamp set. I stamped the houses on Bristol Smooth cardstock and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored the houses with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and used a No. 2 round brush Silver brush. I always loved seeing these beach houses in bright colors, so that was the perfect inspiration for this card!

I cut my panel out using the Blueprints 1 dies and created a frame for my beach houses. I popped the frame up on dimensional foam tape and placed it on my card base, then glued my watercolor piece in the center of the frame flat on my card base. I used a sentiment from the set, heat embossed it, and cut it out with the largest die from the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips.  I use those strips all the time, so handy!!

For the ocean I used several Pretty Pink Posh sequins from the Winter Snow mix, I thought they looked great reassembling an ocean!

This card was a blast to create!
Thanks for stopping by,
